Miley Ray Cyrus (born November 23, 1992, Destiny Hope Cyrus) is a singer, songwriter and actress. Cyrus is known for her role in the title role in the successful Disney Channel, Hannah Montana. Following the success of Hannah Montana, in October 2006, CD Soundtrack has been published in which she sang eight songs from the series. Cyrus music career solo began with the release of their debut album, Meet Miley Cyrus on June 23, 2007, which included his first top ten single "See You Again." Their second album, Breakout, was released on July 22, 2008. Cyrus Breakout is the first album that does not involve the Hannah Montana franchise. Both albums debuted at # 1 on the Billboard 200.
Cyrus was born in Nashville, Tennessee November 23, 1992 to Leticia "Tish" (née Finley) and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Cyrus has five brothers and sisters. His older brothers Trace and Brandi Cyrus are children from a previous relationship Tish, Billy Ray adopted when they were very young.
As the star Hannah Montana, Cyrus has become popular among children and adolescents, leading to a successful career in music. His first recording was on 04 April 2006, when the fourth edition Disneymania published. Cyrus sang a cover of James Baskett of "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah," the song from the animated film of 1946 South. On 24 October same year, Walt Disney Records released the first Hannah Montana soundtrack. Of the nine tracks on the album led by Cyrus, eight have been credited to Hannah Montana and one, a duet Billy Ray Cyrus, entitled "I learned from you," was credited to Cyrus as herself. The album started at # 1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 281 000 U.S. copies in its first week, to artists like John Legend and rock band My Chemical Romance.
